Primary Industries Skills Council
On this page you can view the industry projects, tools and tips involving the Primary Industries Skills Council (PISC). The State's Industry Skills Boards operate as workforce development agents in the context of the Government's policy directions for workforce development (particularly education, training and employment). As bi-partite industry-led bodies, they work with industry, community and government to identify workforce trends and emerging skill needs, and to consider issues relating to career development and the attraction and retention of a skilled workforce.
The Primary Industries Skills Council works across the State's agriculture, horticulture, racing, aquaculture, commercial fishing and seafood processing industries.
